[DeTomaso] Nose Job on ebay Pantera

The link didn't work for me, but I assume you are talking about the Push Button on eBay. It looks to be an add on spoiler, no body mods per se that cannot be reversed, although this car is far from stock.
 
There is never just that "one spot of rust" IMO, and bubbling of paint isn't indicative of rust underneath?
 
Interesting note on the VIN with a  THPNL"C' and "D" 1293 Panetra being produced one LHD the other RHD.

I guess someone wanted more air to the radiator?  Hasn't hurt the bidding, $60K now, but I assume there is a premium for very early cars?
