[DeTomaso] Letter to Voting POCA Members

All,

I, like Laurie, am privy to information not publicly displayed regarding the recent POCA election.

I too, was disappointed with the recent POCA election process.

That said:

I must again emphasize that to imply there was any mishandling of the ballots received by Chuck Engles would be WAY out of line.

-----------

Who missed what deadline, who mishandled what, who misstated what, is good fodder for a fruitless discussion at the Texas Fun Rally where all can feel free to kick the POCA election dead horse while consuming libido-liberating alcoholic beverages, but you'll have to excuse me if I move to another table.

The election is finished.

I am sure no one honestly likes how it played out. No one.

All involved admit the POCA Bylaws are outdated and, as written, were unable to clearly resolve this election's stumbling blocks.

I have no doubt the current POCA board is capable, willing and intending to address an updating of the POCA bylaws.

Let sleeping dogs lie.

No revote.

Larry - POCA member since 2001

P.S. - I've heard approximately 20% of members actually submitted a ballot. I'd like to think we can do better when the revised
POCA Bylaws are presented to the membership in a future Newsletter edition.
