[DeTomaso] Angled Master Cylinder? Also request for front trunk picture

Stock pedals will not adjust to get the pedals as close to the floor as the spaced out pedal assembly will get you.

Not sure why Dan's hits the hood as there are a lot of folks that have spaced their pedals forward without an issue.

The most common spacers are 1.5 inches thick.

I've seen a couple of cars that have had this modification. The owners
thought they were gaining legroom????

The height of each of the three pedals can be adjusted. With the pedal
box in the stock location, I believe you can adjust the brake and clutch
pedals so that they hit the floor before the masters have reached full stroke
(which is bad).

If you put a spacer in there, all that means is that you will then have to
adjust the pedals closer to the driver to compensate, and you won't have
gained a thing?

So, what is the point of the exercise? I say, before you install a
spacer, adjust your pedals as far out as possible?

Mike
