[DeTomaso] Robs Great Pantera Adventure Search

Rob, the link to the black car comes up as a 1973 L model that has had the late U.S. bumpers taken off and replaced by earlier or Euro bumpers.  You may also want to include later cars in your search as you can change the L U.S. versions to Euro versions and get that look you want.  You also benefit from all the running updates DeTomaso and Ford did to the cars.  If you search in the registry using the feature search options you can see how the later Euro cars look and even see quite a few L models with the bumpers changed.   Considering later cars and budgeting to switch the bumpers out would widen your options as you can look at 2.5 years worth of more cars (1972.5-1974) rather than just the 1971-1972.5 (1.5 year) range : )    Mike

I remember Dallas Raines having a Chevy engine installed in his car, so 
I did a quick web search, only to find that he has owned more than one 
Pantera. I hope you find what you are looking for.

1st half of the fun is the search for a Pantera
2nd half of the fun is owning and driving your Pantera
3rd half of the fun is meeting up with other Pantera owners (at track 
events, meetings, shows, dinners, ...), they are a great group of people
4th half of the fun is modifying your Pantera to your own tastes

Panteras are just too much fun, hope you can handle it
