[DeTomaso] Side gill studs, threaded or not?

Replace the plastic thingys with the appropriate size common push-in anchors
used for hanging stuff on dry wall. Works for me. There is only one
threaded bolt on the back which has an 8mm nut IIRC. Use 2-3 of the anchors
for the other attachment studs.

Just my experience

I've repaired a couple of gill-studs that snapped off; I think they're
shrink-fitted or pressed into the pot-metal casting. Some guys that break
them just drill clear through for a new stud, tap the hole and use Bondo or
black paint to kind-of-hide the hole(s).

I believe they have studs on them and are held on with wing nuts on the
   back side.

As the topic says, are the studs just threaded into the gill or are
   they cast/pressed in?
