[DeTomaso] Pantera Back in the News Again on Top 10

Dear Rich,

What you're missing and overlooking is that both the Z and the Pantera
have pointy noses whereas the Mustang does not. :-)

     It is very obvious.

                       Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Ok
I know a lot of people like the 240Z.
I am not trying to be critical or argumentative.
I am just interested in the reasoning.
I owned a used 1965 mustang fastback 289 4 speed when I was 17 years old.
My neighbor owned a brand new 240Z.
He really liked the car. I drove in it and even drove it. Better fit and
finish. Better balance and easier to drive on winding roads.
I found it to be so underpowered that it was boring compared to my mustang.
You had to man handle a Mustang in turns, but over it was more fun and would
eat up the 240Z except in a parking lot race track.
What am I missing? Is it the feeling of a better balanced car?
Rich
