And I don't believe Konis were stock on your cars.
Also in your first picture, what are we looking at behind the shock. I
don't hardly recognize anything.
Thanks,
Jeff

How did it
A A A work out?
A A >>>If you go to the Koni USA website you'll see there are a

they
A A will rebuild them for free; otherwise the charge is fairly
substantial.

A A Don't forget that there are Konis and then there are Konis.
A A The old-school shocks were simply replacements for the stock
shocks,
A A and used the stock (or stock-style) springs.A However, for
many years
A A Pantera Performance Center and Pantera East have been selling
new,
A A modern Koni shocks (their so-called '30 series') which use much
A A smaller-diameter springs.A They are therefore smaller and
lighter than
A A the standard-style.A While they are rather expensive, when you
look at
A A the cost of having old-school Konis rebuilt, the price delta
isn't that
A A great.
A A If you already have old Konis it may make sense to rebuild
them.
A A However, if you were first planning on buying a set and then
having
A A them rebuilt, it would start to get a bit crazy...buying new,
modern
A A units would make more sense.
