I've had a Noble M400 3.5 Duratec engine with 425HP and 390 torque. 3.3 sec. to 60 and 12 sec to 120. After 120 my Pantera just walks away. I can't speak for the Ecoboost engine.
I'll keep my Pantera thank you.

150 savings on engine alone, CF doors, hood and Decklid would be close,
if not over 50 lbs.A Brakes are lighter, frame stiffening adds some
weight.
I recently removed my metal corner marker bezels and replaced them with
plastic, beleive it or not, it was 3.5 lbs lighter.
Lose the trunk tub -12 lbs, go to an aluminum radiator -15 lbs.A Lose
the shifter gate for a leather boot - 1 lb.
Add 5 point belts + 4 lbs.
I think 200 lbs is do-able

Michael,
Well, I think all of what you're asking could be accomplished except
for the dropping 200 lbs part.A The Ecoboost with turbos, etc. weighs
400 lbs and a full iron Cleveland is in the 550 lb range. A
The 6-speed is the tricky part but I have an ace up my sleeve for that
one.A Once again, heresy but the Ecoboost might help get a 6-spd in
the car with minimal changes to the sheetmetal.A Currently I don't
know of a 6-spd that will fit in the Pantera without sheetmetal work at
the back end.
All it takes is the financing!!! (I'd let my Pantera be the guinea pig
since I have a Cleveland and a ZF that I can always swap back to).

It would be a great experiment if somebody would be the first and IF
you can drop 200 lbs AND add 600 hp at the wheels,
It would not be the last one built.A Add a 6th gear, CV Halfshafts
and 18/19 wheels, 6 piston Brembos, stiffen everything. CF hood,
Doors, Decklid, drop it an inch.
Winner.
