           Egad.  You're brutal, but you're right.  I wouldn't say that it is ugly.  It scores very highly against other cars of its era, but it is definitely second rate to Tjaarda's lines and proportions.

I never noticed before but the rear quarter panels on the AMX3 is IMHO really ugly. Proportions, proportions, proportions as Tom Tjaarda says.
That's what makes the Pantera so amazing, everything works together, especially the original paint scheme with the lower rocker panels painted black.
