[DeTomaso] '74 Taillight Lens

The original screws have a slightly undersize shank. You thread the
screw through the plastic by force and the screw once the threads are
past the hole spins freely in the lens when you tighten it.

So how did they do it? Beats the heck out of me. I just spent five
minutes examining an old lens with its captured screws and can't figure
it out at all. It just makes no sense?
