[DeTomaso] Radiator removal procedure

My stock copper/brass radiator without residual water inside weighed 42 lbs. So while lifting it up and out is straightforward, it may not be easy for some. On the other hand, my Fluidyne aluminum rad WITH attached AC condenser weighs 20 lbs and even at my advanced age, I lift it out as needed by myself. Not all the lightness benefits of aluminum parts are for driving.... Leaning the rad forward makes access to the hose clamps & hoses easier, too. Good luck- J DeRyke

Subject: [DeTomaso] Radiator removal procedure

Took advantage of the fact that I had the Space City webpage open to
   browse,
and also looked on Pantera Place with no luck.
   A
   Is there a procedure
out there for removing/installing the radiator?
   I'm assuming it is all
straight forward and can be figured out just by
   common sense, but it would
be nice if there were something structured
   and perhaps a lessons-learned
document.
   A
Bleeding the system is well documented, but pulling the
radiator?
