The simplest place is under the motor mounts and in fact if you buy Halls jackpad kit, they're predrilled to fit there. The installation involves removing the 3 nuts on each side, putting a plate over the protruding bolt ends and replacing the nuts. The balance is about right to lift the whole side, too.

I'm about to do some welding and undercarriage cleaning up on 1488 and
am
wanting to attach small steel jack pads to the frame at each wheel
corner.......or whatever else works better.A Being that the car is so
light, my jack can lift the entire back or front, so having one mounted
center might also make sense.
If anybody has done this, please let me know
where the best unobtrusive
locations are.
