[DeTomaso] LED Headlights

I was impressed with the level of lighting these units provide on Bill's car and have to say had they been available when the quad eyes came out I'd have very seriously considered them.
They are a must for anyone wanting to retain the original look and ability to go back to stock, which as Pantera prices rise is becoming more of a consideration for many. Compared to the alternatives for enhancd lighting these LED's are cheap and a straight bolt in, whereas all the alternatives require cutting the headlight buckets and we all know obtaining a replacment set of those is like finding rocking horse sh*t.

1. Plug and play.
2. Three to four times better lighting on the dark back roads of Texas
3. .no downside at all using them, but buying them, well they are a Damn bit more than an 12 volt 7" Ford replacement headlamp. I actually got a real one time deal, pictures of a small wooly animal. Cost today in Calgary $589.00 Canadian times two required.
Look up VisonX Vortex 7 LED lights and see what they are down there, I would like to know how bad we are getting it put to us up here.
Rant complete. They are worth the hi cost. Amazing .
Cheers,

Dear Bill
Dumb questions about your LED headlight experience:
1) Were they a direct replacement for the standard headlights that simply plugged right in without fuss or muss?
2) Did you perceive better lighting and night driving with the LED headlights?
3) Any downsides to using the LED headlights?
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Hi Michael, John, Joe and you too Larry.
I have 7" Vortex LED headlights. Ask Will or Julian about how well they work. Put em for the trip to Houston.
Maybe the picture will go thru.
