[DeTomaso] Carpet Removal

You can probably remove and reinstall it, but you won¹t be able to forget
the gunk that you¹ll find. You¹ll be driving down the road and think,
³Did I just suck in something? It smells like the junk I saw in the
carpet.²

And then you¹ll start having dreams about strange insects burrowing into
your nose.

Sorry about that. My mind wandered.

You¹ll be fine. I don¹t think it is glued down. It may take a while to
get it back in w/out the carpet bunching up in places. I think I¹d use
some 3M adhesive to get the carpet to stay put. The dyna-mat goes sticky
side down, so the top is the slippery foil, which is perfect to let carpet
slide all over the place. If you spray it with 3M adhesive, it should
help the carpet stick. The 3M adhesive isn¹t permanent. Unlike the
botflies burrowing into your noseŠ
