[DeTomaso] POCA forum vs. DeTomaso email forum

Hi all,
Today it looks like we had a cross-post from the POCA on-line forum to
our email forum and it caused a little confusion.
As Larry Finch and others have pointed out over the years, we're a
little behind the times with this old Mailman email system. But it
works.
Years ago when POCA really got the website rockin' it included an
on-line forum. It didn't get a lot of traffic. When we rebuilt the
web site a couple years ago, we again included an on-line forum. It
doesn't get a lot of postings but you can set up your account to have
it notify you of new postings. When it sends an email to your inbox,
it will have a subject with [POCA Forum] in it. This is in no way
associated with the DeTomaso email forum unless somebody gets the
notification email just mentioned and copies it into or forwards it to
this email forum.
Since this email forum gets more traffic, questions usually get
answered quicker. However if you go to the web site and click on
Forum, you should get to the on-line one and see there has been some
traffic there as well.
This email forum, though originally designed as a collaboration tool
for computer geeks and programmers, has honestly served this group
well for 20 years.
We did try to find a way to automatically cross-polinate the two but
it wasn't possible with the available tools at the time and I'd
venture still not possible or practical. So something posted to both
locations might not be uncommon but probably won't have the same
responses.
There are a few lurkers who watch the on-line forum and post replies.
It's not as prolific as this email forum though.
Hopefully if you were confused about this, I've provided some clarity.
If you haven't tried the on-line forum I would encourage you to at
least take a look.
