Thought about doing the same. But what if the A/C failed?! Better get a rental this summer
Of course if I had the guts to do it, it wouldn't be an English car, like ordering fish and chips at McDonald's. A classic musclecar would be more appropriate IMHO

It must be related to the Viking DNA . There is a poetic comparison
between driving an "iffy" E type down the east coast and sailing west from
Norway to North America in a Viking Longship!
