I completely missed that possibility. You know, when your job takes away
any chance of being lighthearted on a Friday afternoon at 2:25, it¹s time to
find another profession I should go home and work on getting my car ready
for the Rally!

is
Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) and everyone knows PVC is
poly-whatever plastic. The PCV system will get rid of or at
least
greatly reduce the smoke and smell emitting from the engine by
drawing
it back into the intake charge.

I have never head that the material of construction of the
valve
would
make a difference, why would PVC be better for the PCV valve?

Do you have a PVC valve? I recall that PVC helps reduce or
eliminate
pressure i
nside the engine, and if it's removed or blocked, you can get oil
spray
from bre
athers.

Hi Guys, does anyone have any ideas how to stop my engine from
blowing
oil out of the breathers on the valve covers. The engine was
just
rebuilt and now has aluminum valve covers without any baffles
by the
openings for the breathers. I'm getting a spray of oil out of
the
breathers and sometimes they actual come off when i push it
hard.
These are the twist-on type of breathers,
