[DeTomaso] Bordinat Pantera prototype?

Guys,

Some time ago, a rather hinky-looking Pantera was up for sale on E-bay with
a very high price, because it was a one-off built for Eugene Bordinat, head
of design for Ford. Among other things it had a weird cut-down decklid
with louvers, etc.

Can anybody point me at that car, perhaps in the registry? Does anybody
know where the car eventually wound up?

Eyes on Design concours in Detroit is trying to round up all the Bordinat
prototypes from his years at Ford and the organizers asked me to help them
find this Pantera.

Thanks!

Mike

Mike,

Could you be confusing EB's Mangusta, now with Jeff Cobb?

Or Carlini's Pantera without the cut deck lid ?

Or the 7X:

Or searching for those deck lids,

and

Those two are the only Panteras with the cut deck lids that I can find.

Let me know if I am missing something.

Chuck
