[DeTomaso] Valve Lash Adjusting Tool

Why does Mike's procedure NOT sound right to me?

The allen bolt on the inside sits against the top of the rocker arm
stud. The adjusting nut (hense called an "adjusting nut" sits against
the rocker arm pivot. If I adjust lash with the allen bolt and then
hold it in place, I can crank on the adjusting nut and it will just keep
going until the valve is open. Why does your procedure not work for me
Mike?
