Can't get my late 74 running after installing the 1281DV Pertronix Ignitor.
Took out the Napa Echlin dual points, rotor and cap. Installed the ignitor
along with the Motorcraft DR-5-B Rotor as call for in the instructions.
Installed a Motorcraft DH-6 cap. Got that number from the Pantera parts
book. Hook the black wire to the negative coil terminal. Hooked the red wire
to the blue wire that I unplugged the wire that came out of the distributor.
No go. Put the Echlin cap back on. No go. Stopped at that point. Thanks in
advance for any help.
