I run an aeromotive a1000 with a regulator -10 to pump thru one filter then
-10 to second filter.. Then to regulator .. From there 2 each -6 lines to carb and one -8 line back to fuel cell
Suppose to never starve and keep fuel cooler
Pump is pricy $400 plus and I did lose it once at Reno track. But motor keeps running
That being said after my oil line fire I took the carb to local guy. Not good. Blown power valve no gasket between base of carb (with the butterflies) must have been engine builder when he drilled the butterflies 8 years back!
One thing made it lean the other rich. He is wondering how it even ran. New tapered floats,jet extensions,delete rear power valve, clean up flashings several places
I also changed all braided rubber hoses to braided Teflon (about $400) but it is suppose to hold up to all the alcohol additives forever
With my recent oil hose going and fire decided to help out before I had to deal with any insurance co
Of course if I ball it up at the track all bets are off
Change your rubber lines if they are old because all our gas is eating them up!!
Getting ready for no noise limit Laguna (rare day) putting on the 4" straight pipes to shake things up
First start yesterday. Need to change air bleed sizes as he guessed based on the other issues
