[DeTomaso] FW: Headlights don't go up, take II

I assume that the screw is very close to the fender top when it hits so
thin pliers or forceps could perhaps be used to unscrew the screw
competely.

Mystery solved. 

My headlights are just like the ones in Tomas' photo. One of the screws
that 
holds the black cover on that surrounds the bulb has backed out. It hits
the 
inside of the bodywork just below the headlight opening and prevents the
buckets from raising. 

The opening is so minuscule that I am not entirely sure how to remove
that 
screw, but at least now I know what the problem is!

If Charlie's car is similar to mine there are no normal "trim rings",
see 
attached photo. I guess it can still be a related problem.
