In the early 1970's I had a locksmith make a key for the door lock of my 1967 Fiat -- took him just a few minutes.

Early Pantera replacement ignition key blank = ilco X20 (more diamond
shaped head). British Leyland, Ford International.
Later Pantera replacement ignition key blank = ilco FC2 (more rectangle
   shaped head). Mercury Capri
Note: OEM keys had a fine mesh detail stamped on both sides of the key
blank head. Would love to find a source for OEM key blanks. Anybody
   know that source, please comment.
Door & trunk replacement key blank = ilco FT37
   Hope this helps.
