If you are going to an aluminum block, does it even make sense to stick with a Cleveland style block?  You can get a 9.2 deck Dart aluminum block and the only difference you can see is the oil sender port area at the rear of the valley.  There are more parts available for a Windsor style block, so I think that makes more sense.
