I still have my 1995 M3.-- but it BARELY passed smog last time, even with a new cat.

   A few people asked for the pic I mentioned of the Pantera
   at Riverside from 1973. I was only 9 so isn't the best pic
   but might have slight interest to some of us.
   On this thread Sean discussed a BMW 135i. As it turns
   out I have a 335is - beautiful car, fast, comfortable and
   fun to drive. As he said, it is also a commodity item that
   will have negligible value 20 years from now. I can't
   imagine owning it for 20 years (I just turned 25 on my
   Pantera ownership). Between smog tests and general
   complexity it won't be worth repairing once something
   interesting fails. Until that happens or I get tired of
   driving it I'll keep a spot for it in my garage.
