[DeTomaso] Oil coolers and stuff

Tomas is right on the money, why add an oil cooler if you don't know what
your oil temp might be??????

 

Another data point . . . .my car came with a vertically installed oil cooler
"placement of an air-to-oil cooler in the

wheelwell behind a louvered panel represented the height of optimism, to the


point of being totally delusional.  "  

 

Really? My car has been tracked in Vegas, P'rump, Phoenix and ORR'd in
Nebraska and Texas.  NEVER had the oil over 200 degrees. NEVER.  Something
works, wonder what it might be?

 

That being said, oil-to-water is the way to go.  And I will, should I ever
have the chance.

 

Just remember, no oil temp gauge?  Then all is fine! hahahahaha
