Interesting...

Tom Upton and I have been using Avon slicks on our Panteras for years.
I started using them in 1998 for track events and Tom, after a
recommendation from me, started using them on his racecar soon after.
I am using them now on the Pantera track car, too.

Neither of us has ever had a hint of a problem.
