[DeTomaso] Cluch master hard line fitting thread size

The original fitting is a little rare.It is 12mm-1.0,inverted flare.

However,the threads are longer than most brands of fittings,such as the ones you can get from Pegasus Racing etc. so if you get a shorter,aka. fewer threaded fitting, it will run out of threads before it will seat on the flare and will leak.

The only aftermarket fitting i have found that has enough threads is from Edelman part #121068.

What is the problem you are currently having?Are you having trouble lining up and starting the fitting?If so sometimes it is easier to have the master loose,not bolted to the box so you can change the angle to get it started without cross threading.Easier than bending the the line and risking damage to the line.
