[DeTomaso] Wiring harness R&R

The Mosley kit fixed the existing circuits by using the ignition switch to control relays. Pretty simple, you just put the relays between the ignition switch and the loads.

I added several new electric devices, EFI, fuel pump, water pump, etc. and an going to a voltage gauge, so it made sense to build a new fuse/relay panel.

This is for a 73 that has a bunch of unnecessary wiring that I removed, like the starter lockout, etc. which also motivated getting deep into the wiring.

One more question. What are the suggested improvements that one should
make while doing this? I know there are several devices that remove
the loads from the ignition switch and headlight switch. What about
new fuse panels like the one sold on Pantera Electronics web site?
Advantages, disadvantages? I am looking at the weather pack products.

I also know there are some guys that sell improvements, I would love to
hear from you, or even about you.

   Thanks

Bill Taylor's drawings on Pantera Place are very good:

   To All:
Wasn't someone on the Forum selling color coded wiring diagrams at one
time? I can't remember who it was. I know the wire colors can vary
from car to car but it would be a big help to have one anyway.
