[DeTomaso] PPC - Potential Pantera Content - Garage Door Break ins

I had a Loadmaster jackshaft garage door opener in my last house and plan to get anther:

It also has a bolt that engages the closed door, I don't know if that would make a difference in the break-in you described, but it is a little bit more security.

   I failed to mention, my doors are all solid no windows, maybe it adds a
   few extra seconds to get in working blind, but the opener is almost
   guaranteed to be central to the door. That is unless you have the
   Liftmaster side mount door opener that Jeff refers to.
