Here's a more complete selection of Faston connectors and terminals in an Excel file for you DIY guys. Let me know if the attachment gets stripped. It's only 150 k-bytes but .xls files may get blocked.

I replaced all my connectors as many were corroded or burnt, keeping the
original style.
You can get the connectors from Digikey,
http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?KeyWords=a27936ct-nd&WT.z_header=search_go
This is just the female in one size, there are 3 sizes, male and female and
I got 100 of each.
You could get away with less and maybe not the smaller size.
You need to cut the little tags as they come connected together.
They also sell the single one connector solid cover,
http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?vendor=0&keywords=a27915-nd

I had trouble getting the multiple wire plastic connectors, some of mine
were burnt from bad connections.
In the end I got mine from the UK, they also do a kit including the
connectors.

They also have a great choice of colors and sizes in wiring.
So if you want to look for that brown with red stripe or white with orange
stripe rather than just using a red wire, this bunch is good.
Great if you are adding some extra wires.
Think about replacing the main battery lead that goes from the alternator.
A #4 cable to at least the fuse panel / ignition switch will help if you
later use a larger output alternator.

Buy a good wire stripper, I think this is the one I have,
http://www.amazon.com/Gb-Wire-Stripper-22-Awg/dp/B00448IWI6
A good ratchet wire crimper,
http://www.pbase.com/mainecruising/wire_termination
I think this is the one I got,
http://www.amazon.com/Tool-Aid-18920-Ratcheting-Terminal/dp/B0002STTTI/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hi_4?ie=UTF8&refRID=083X516ZH2DN81FG3A89

Also Jon Haas sells the connectors and terminals.
