[DeTomaso] Vin # question

There were none officially built after about June. My guess is, Ford stopped building cars mid-'74 and sold the factory back to A. DeTomaso in Sept. In the factory were some 150 unfinished chassis that became what DeTomaso sold in '75-77 while arranging for the small carrozzeria around Modena to continue building Pantera body panels to order. It was a less than smooth transition. FWIW- J DeRyke

   What happened to all the US cars built from June to Dec. ?
