[DeTomaso] Headlight Bucket Alignment Tricks

Mike, I bought a small rod & drilled holes to match the dia. of the rods. Rods are about 4-6" length.
See pictures. First picture shows the reason for removing the bucket. The weld on the headlight bar bracket broke.

As I remember, I drilled two random holes from the bottom. The holes made it a snap when re-installing the bucket. The alignment was perfect the first time. 

Hope this helps. Grind the tip of the rod to a blunt point.

Am finally getting ready to pull the headlight buckets to put in the cat eye quads.  I recall a few threads in the past about tricks to removing the headlight buckets by marking them or something to minimize hassles aligning them when you put them back on.  Whachagot?
