[DeTomaso] replacement seats

The deletion of the logo was not extra as I recall.
The holes were extra, but not much.
I can't remember if they are partial leather or all vinyl. I'm not at home
right now, so I can't look. I remember that full leather was much more
expensive. They might even send them out to be recovered in leather.
The biggest recommendation I can make to anyone is to try lots of seats.
Sit in as many as possible. We are all built differently, and we have
different preferences. I love the LG1 seats. There were many other seats
that I didn't like.

Will,
They look very nice. Very similar to the seats I have now (except mine are
nock offs sold as "Real Leather" that were in fact vinyl ! What are your
seats upholstered in? Was the deletion of the Corbeau logo an extra cost
option? Did you get the submarine hole added? I have noticed that Corbeau
also offer an option the have the seat cushion height shaved an inch for
$45. I think that would help with the height issue. I am looking at the
Corbeau CR1 in black Leather )another nice thing about the corbeau leather
option is that the entire seat (front and back) is upholstered in leather .
Most people don't realize that even when you get leather upholstery from the
factory in most makes only the seat faces are actually leather with the
remainder of the seat in Vinyl.
On a side note it always struck me as amusing that for years
Mercedes Benz has been selling there expensive cars with upholstery called
"MB Tex" which is a trade marked name for the Vinyl that Mercedes uses. I
wonder how many of the deep pocketed MB buyers would have made the same
choices if the knew that their new Mercedes had Vinyl interior ( Mercedes
does offer leather as an option on the less expensive models but it is
standard on their flagship s-class and even has two levels of napa leather
upgrades) I must admit that MB MB Tex is the best vinyl interior I have ever
experienced .

My Corbeau LG1s are a major upgrade to the stock seats. They do not
look like 90% of the online photos of Corbeau seats. They look like
they belong in the car. You can order Corbeau seats with a lot of
options - materials, with or without harness holes, colors, etc. These
options either make the seat look like they were done by the factory or
like they were done by a clown.

The LG1 seats feel very similar to my wife's 2013 Boxster. I don't
know how comfortable they will be on a long trip, but comfortable or
not, the side support will be worth it.

Will,
Did you think the stock Pantera seats were more comfortable? I find the
add support of the bolsters to make a huge difference in hard
cornering. There is a reason all modern performance cars use seats of
similar design.I think your seats look great in your car. Thanks for
sharing your experience with me.

I have six point harnesses and a stock Pantera seat isn't effective at
maintaining the six point harness in the proper position . In the event
of an accident it is extremely important (IMHO) to have a properly
positioned submarine belt and in order for it to be placed in the
correct position you must have have an anchor point that goes through
the seat ( not wrapped forward around the front of the seat. Improper
positioning of multi point harnesses (5 or 6) can result in serious
