I've received multiple replies from owners successfully using the Centerforce DF700000 clutch, which uses the standard bolt pattern. Some also use it with a Fidanza aluminum flywheel, so I've decided to go that direction.
I believe it was you who said the McLeod clutch needed a special throw out bearing and possibly also shimming, and I don't need any additional complications now. :)
Cheers,
Thomas

I've received multiple replies from owners successfully using the
Centerforce DF700000 clutch, which uses the standard bolt pattern. Some
also use it with a Fidanza aluminum flywheel, so I've decided to go
that direction.
I believe it was you who said the McLeod clutch needed a special throw
out bearing and possibly also shimming, and I don't need any additional
complications now. :)

Maybe a Mustang clutch might, but then you run into the clearance
problems etc.
If you're going to replace your clutch, I'd highly recommend getting a
McLeoud diaphragm (Centerforce-style) clutch which DOES bolt right to
the stock bolt pattern....
