[DeTomaso] Waterless Engine Coolant

It's all black magic. Actually, there are good and bad things. It is flammable, but I'm not sure how volatile. I suspect not nearly as bad as gas.
They worked with a guy racing a Pantera so have experience.
It has a little lower heat capacity than a 50/50 mix, but not a lot, probably results in a little higher steady state temperature. I think there are three versions, so you need to know which your are talking about.
You can run it at near zero pressure, which is nice with all the connections in the water lines. They claim the higher boiling temp prevents or reduces boiling in the heads adjacent to the combustion chambers, which helps reduce hot spots in the chambers and resulting detonation. But even if you can live with higher coolant temp, it could be an issue with an oil to water heat exchanger if you are thinking about that as an option.
It seems like most gearheads extrapolate from limited experience and will swear that a product is terrible or wonderful. There are so many variable that it's hard to know what really made an engine overheat or run cooler, unless there is a clear issue, like fans running backwards.

Aside from the cost ( in a Pantera, about $150.00 ), any noticed advantages?
How much higher does it raise the operating temp?
Can it be used on track ( rules generally prohibit antifreeze)?
