I've been expecting a decline in the prewar car market for the last few years. It hasn't really happened yet, but the collector car market overall has been so strong I think it's just a case of a rising tide lifting all boats. While there will always be a market for the really desirable stuff (Bugatti's, Bentley's, Duisenberg's etc.) I think the more run of the mill prewar cars are going to struggle to find interest with the next generation of collectors. Time will tell....

How about the cars like a '32 Cadillac16 cyl? Cars that fall in that caliber, I would think are worrying about who will become the future caretakers.

I can see Senate hearings to ban sports cars because they represent what is wrong with youth.
