That is true.  Even Haggerty makes sure you are not using the classic car as daily driver.
Plus they DO NOT cover the car if you even think about putting it on the track.   I believe I
had to sign-off on that one.

Asa,

That is usually to establish that you have two daily drivers and that your classic is used as such and not your daily driver. Most all the classic insurers have over riders against classic use for daily driving, to and from work etc. to ensure the risk is in line with the lower premium classics afford through limited mileage.

So, the thing that ticks me off with respect to these other insurers, is
that they -all- (except for Hagerty so far) want to insure my other cars
in order to get that "great price" on my classic.  I don't want them to
insure my other cars, I'm totally satisfied with my present carrier.  I
only want coverage on my classic.
For example, I just came from Grundy's web site.  They won't process the
on-line quote unless you list at least three vehicles and two different
categories.  WTH?
