race at Laguna many years back (they had the real drivers then)
 and was banging fenders with someone

yes the old timers drove the wheels and fenders off the cars

George Follmer was another great one in the rain.

In 75 I was at the Long Beach GP (F5000). I jumped the fence and ran across
the track to get into the pits after the race. Looking back to see if I was
going to be nabbed, I turned back and ran right into George. It was like I
hit a wall. He did not say a thing.

Senna was one of my favorite drivers... he was
a master in the Rain... either knew what he was
doing or had bigger balls then the rest

I almost bought a signed Senna helmet years
