Yeah, they'll be happy to recover the whole thing for about $1500. My
upholstery guy is doing it for $325 plus materials.

You might try calling the company called "Just Dashes" and see if they offer
viable solutions for Pantera owners.

I had a Corvette with a cracked dash and repaired it with one of the
specialist kits. My experience was it took some learning to reproduce
anything like the original wrinkle pattern and even when I became proficient
it was still visible as a fix. More importantly it didn't hold up here in NV
as the sun got to the dash the two plastics had different thermal expansion
and it cracked along the filled edge.
I would recommend you go for recovering, get it done with leather (or
leatherette) with French seams and it will look awesome.
