[DeTomaso] Filling Cracks in Split Dash

I pulled my two-pod dash and recovered it a few years back. One thing I
wish I paid more attention to was the warping around the defrost vent where
the dash sagged down. No cracks like was mentioned, but now that it is all
together I see the dip in the dash that I wish I would have filled or
formed back up prior to recover.

Food for thought while you are at it.

That's why I suggested JB Weld. It has been a while since I saw a
     later
     dash.
JB Weld is sandable, it is pretty easy to use, strong, and
     plastic-like.
But if your dash is not covered, it would be difficult to reproduce
     a
grain or perfectly smooth surface with JB Weld. You need to do
     something
like MS suggests. Epoxy for strength, and something softer for the
     surface.
