[DeTomaso] Filling Cracks in Split Dash

I had a Corvette with a cracked dash and repaired it with one of the specialist kits. My experience was it took some learning to reproduce anything like the original wrinkle pattern and even when I became proficient it was still visible as a fix. More importantly it didn't hold up here in NV as the sun got to the dash the two plastics had different thermal expansion and it cracked along the filled edge.

I would recommend you go for recovering, get it done with leather (or leatherette) with French seams and it will look awesome.
