[DeTomaso] Tefba Coolant Filter

Asa Jay, sorry for the confusion. The site you listed (v12performance.com) is the same site as www.tefba.com (or same owner). I understand the guy running v12performance grabbed the URL tefba.com for his use. I also found that the site won't accept an order for the filter (at least on my system). Alan told me the guy running that site only takes checks and is really slow to respond and ship to customers and is the reason he tracked down the guy actually making them. No matter, once I receive the part I'll check if it's actually 1-3/8. If it is then great and I'll let you all know. If not then I'll do what everyone else did and make it fit : ) Agree it would be nice to see a list of all distributors but those are the only I found with a quick search. I can get you Alan's number if you like and he'd probably be willing to spend time providing you all the background on the Tefba business : ) Thanks, Mike

   So I'm confused now...
Some guy makes them on his own, actually has them molded with the TEFBA
name on them, but they're not actually TEFBA?
And no, I checked twice today and the site [1]www.tefba.com does -not-
list a 1-3/8 size. Neither does the site where it links to in order to
   actually order them:
   [2]http://www.v12performance.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Cod
   e=F&Category_Code=Tefba
So it might be nice to see the list of other distributors to compare.

Just a quick update: I spoke with the seller (Alan) and had a great
conversation. These are 1-3/8a filters that he got directly from the
guy that makes them in Australia. Alan is also selling them on ebay
and told me he will gladly take returns if anyone is not happy. He did
warn me that you'll also find them on a site awww.Tefba.coma but that
it is not the actual manufacturer and his poor experience with the
owner of this site got him search out where these are actually made and
deal directly with the manufacturer. They guy that makes them in
Australia is supposedly an elder gentleman that makes them himself to
order from a small number of distributors. Bottom line is these are
the right hose size and Alan, who is selling them on Amazon and ebay,
seems very straightforward and honest. Thanks, Mike
