[DeTomaso] Wiper Arms

Don't forget the glass area wiped is the length of the wiper arm plus the length of the wiper blade & support. Panteras use a longer blade & support than Jags. I know of one Pantera that uses reshaped Z-28 wiper arms from the '80s, with different length blades & supports. I pay no attention to catalogues that give factory wiper lengths- I measure what I need and find that size. In any case, a slightly longer blade & support will wipe a bit more glass clear on most any car.
Note that since the '70s, most wiper arms have been made of stainless steel, and the bend can be modified by slow 'n careful cold-working to a custom angle. I use a vise to hold the short end, and hand-bend. Mild steel would crack but stainless is tough. This comes in handy for cars like the Pantera that uses different bend wiper arms on left and right sides. FWIW- J DeRyke

All,
I need the dimensions of the wiper arms (length to the bend, the length
after the bend, and the angle of the bend) so I can try to find a
match. I'm told E Type's work, but that's hard to believe because the
Jag windshield is shorter than ours.
I have a '74 so they park on the passenger side. Thanks.
