Mr Casey,
Again, you miss the point. I was not speaking for Mike Drew. I was stating that you should leave your personal rhetoric at the door. Thank you & please never recommend me for anything.

Dear Dave,
I can assure you that Mike drew is more then capable of defending himself he he feels he has some reason too. He certainly doesn't need YOU to act as his protector. Mike made a statement that he "upgraded" to a MOMO wheel , I simply asked in what way a MOMO was an "upgrade" since the Momo came as standard equipment it wouldn't qualify as an upgrade in those particular instances it would be simply "restoring" the original. Furthermore he went on to say "It looks much better"
and I wasn't arguing with Mike I was asking for his opinion on what exactly made the MOMO an upgrade. I said that Mike was a Pantera expert (a compliment ) and wanted the basis for his opinion. I wasn't disputing his opinion I was simply asking for the facts to support it. (facts are something that Mike is never in short supply of.) The reason I mentioned Baskin Robbins has 21 flavors (apparently now 31)( in case you are not familiar with this saying ) , is because it's a common
way of saying "different people have different tastes " and just because you ( or any particular person prefers a specific item does not necessarily make it better or an "upgrade". The reason I included the background info on Baskin Robbins is because someone was quick to point out that BK now has
31 flavors. I was simply pointing out the source for my stating there were
21 flavors.
I find Mike Drew to be a veritable cornucopia of Pantera information and he is quick to point out errors when they arise on the list. As a recognized expert on things Pantera I was merely trying to point out the difference between facts and opinions. Mike has helped me on more occasions then I can count and I have neither the desire nor the ability to "fill his shoes". I also have known Mike to have a sense of humor and believe he would understand the humor as it was intended in my post. If he took offense I'm quite sure he would not hesitate to inform me of it off list.( as an Air Force officer he certainly has the ability to communicate effectively with out your assistance.) It was also not my intent to attempt to compare a MOMO wheel with a Lecarra wheel. I have no vested interest in either. My car came with a Lecarra wheel , so I did not choose it and it in neither a reflection of my preference or my taste. But since it is no longer available for Panteras I can see no point in comparing them, Just for the record my Lecarra wheel is
3 spoke, 13" diameter and has a stitched leather wrapping. At 6' and with long legs it's additional hub length does situate it in a perfect driving position for me. I don't know how Mike feels about you speaking on his behalf but if the Pantera "Big list" ever needs a "Spokes Model" I will be sure to enter your name in the running!

Sincerely .

Hugh Boyd Casey
