I am in the midst of figuring out the wiring in 5332's engine compartment.
Good news is the car ran before I started working on it, so I figure there
is hope for it when I get done.
There are a number of wires that have been cut off and taped. The ones I am
curious about are the ones that go into the off-white plastic connector in
the attached picture. The small green wire (or more likely light blue) is
hooked up to the MSD Tach adapter, so that is the trigger wire for the tach.
Got that much figured out. Well, sort of. The green (or light blue) is
connected to the same space connector as the heavy Blue/Black. I get the
idea that perhaps the heavy Blue/black is the wire that goes to the tach?
The pink and the red wires also go to the same spade, but don't have
corresponding wires coming out of the connector. I tried finding a pink
wire in this are of the wiring diagram with no luck.
SO, those of you who are comfortable wiring these cars - can you give me any
idea of what all these wires were meant to connect to?
I am not yet to the point that I feel safe reconnecting the battery so also
can't talk about which wires are hot when the ignition is on or when just in
the accessory position.
