Divorce number one was held in Chatham County Superior Court in June, 1986,
the first appearance was for temp support.
the Judge's name was indeed Judge Cheatham ( now passed away ).
Upon his decision to award her $3,000 a month, one younger, dumber, Michael
Shortt, proudly exclaimed so as to be heard,
"They named you right"
at which point my attorney glared at me and the Judge said, "Another word
and it'll be $4,000 "
