Yes.  Arena is correct.  I have cancelled bids before.  eBay has a way to fix mistakes.
You can also contact the seller but contacting eBay support will prevent negative
feedback.

Login.  Go to the Tab that says "Your Account" and click on "Resolution Center"

You have to read the instructions.

There is a method thru Ebay to cancel a bid without going to the seller.
I have done it before but cannot remember the method. Search around Ebay
and you will locate it.
