[DeTomaso] headliner

I think I spent $8.00 for my headliner. Not long after I had the car it started sagging real badly. I wanted to make a trip, Marino wanted $ 90.00 and I had never installed a headliner. I went to Hobby Lobby, bought a 4 ft square of white thin board. I cut it to fit tightly into to space. It was lower in the center when I did the final fit. By pushing the center up it snapped in and does not move. I have had zero problems with it, and am as pleased as though it was a $250. cloth headliner job that was given to me as a gift.

We have a local guy in Houston who did this for me. (Hope the picture
comes through )I borrowed the idea fromA John Taphorn. His cars have
   more traditional Pantera colors

Great article. I love Mike Dailey's website!
Note that Pantera East hasn't had headliners available for many
years now. Hall Pantera has recently brought stock headliners back
to the market. Need to install one in Lori's car one of these days.
It's had a bare steel roof inside for years....
