[DeTomaso] Can anyone help with this?

Ed ,
Six foot is normally about the limit for stock floors and stock seats. You
can pick up around three inches with dropped floors plus buy using modern
seats (like recaro racing seats that don't recline and doing away with the
rails ( for sliding the seats forward and backward) you can gain an easy
additional two inches of head room. Since you only need the car to fit you
, you don't need seats that slide. Mine are mounted right to the floor.
There should be some southern guys with dropped floors. Ask Michael Short.
He races and knows a lot of other people with  modified cars he should be
able to point you in the right direction.
